I have created a turn-key event production opportunity, that with your help as a Director, is poised for great financial success and media attention.

Much like buying a known franchise, it’s easier to sell your product (the Clique Mixer) when you are linked to a name that stands for class and professionalism. As an investor in the success of Clique Mixer, you deserve to know my vision for the future of Clique Mixer. When I started the very first mixer in November 2008 in Portland, OR, my intent was to have a fun girls night out and a break from being a new mommy – I had my first child in September 2008, Kyle Kane (the first Clique Baby! J).

Now, I see this turn-key event production concept as a vehicle for motivated women like me around the country to build their own reputations within their communities as well as bring in extra income for the family.

My dream would be to have a Clique Mixer being hosted every night of the week in some part of the country! I don’t know about Friday and Saturday nights since we are built on the concept of helping venues bring in customers on “off” nights, but you know what I mean! J

Also, using my extensive media and pr background, I will be securing media partnerships and press around the country as more Clique Directors are hired. I will make sure every media outlet will know about this amazing entrepreneurial opportunity sweeping the country.  I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop with our growth – and I say “our” because it is OURS! J

FAQ's

Do I have to pay for the venue and where should I host a mixer?
No Way! You are offering a valuable service to a business. Since you offer the event on an “off” night for the business, you are offering to bring people in and market their business for no money. Most promoters would charge the business. I say it like this when proposing the opportunity… “Do you have any off nights that you are needing more potential customers in your door?” most likely they say yes, then you say “I’m a Clique Mixer Director and I host events that will do just that for you, and I won’t charge you a penny.” They are usually VERY interested at this point, then you point them to the website, which is where your monthly fee really goes into play. They see the fresh, well-branded and professional website and information, pictures, etc. This will seal the deal for you.
I like to target the following venues to host a mixer:
*spa
*lounge
*condo's that need traffic - real estate promoters are needing traffic BAD!
*honestly anywhere you can throw a good party!

What about music?
I decided to partner with a local DJ that was HUNGRY for promotion. So he does our mixers for free, and I promote him like crazy as our "DJ".

What money do I need to put out?
As a business owner, it’s really up to you. But, I can tell you that in the beginning, you just need to pay for gas. Be resourceful and harness the opportunities you have to offer businesses. For instance, the goodie bags…you don’t buy them, you offer a business the opportunity to provide them at no charge to them in exchange for their logo on your website (which I make for you and provide) and the opportunity to market to your mixer attendees. 9 times out of 10, someone will jump at this chance. I recommend going after businesses like insurance, mortgage, real estate, etc for the bags. They have a surplus of promotional materials and especially right now are looking for a way to reach people in creative and cheap ways, which you offer.

What type of booths should we have?
I recommend that the service and product related booths outnumber your educational/solicitation booths 5 to 1. You don’t want your mixer being known as a mini trade show. Ladies are showing up to shop, drink and mingle…they don’t want to be hassled.

jWhat types of 'extras' do you add?
It's all about the experience, and including as many businesses as possible. And, with more businesses involved, the more built-in attendees you have!
I love to partner with local lounges/wineries to add complimentary wine/beer/champagne - never liquor. Be sure to have a state certified alcohol server on hand to serve. Check your local Liquor/Beer control commission.

Director Job Duties:
- Host Clique Mixers in your area! Use this unique networking event tool to bring your network together and build your lead database. You do sign a contract, but there is no minimum time length of your services. I do not require you to sign a 1 year deal or anything!

How do you make money?
You sell space at a clique mixer event. The fee is always $35 for a vendor booth. You keep 100% of every booth fee, so you can see how you quickly earn an average of $300 to $500 per event.

What is the 'Director Fee' for?
As an independent contractor, a monthly director fee of $50 per month is charged to you for the maintenance of your personal CLIQUE Mixer website, email, posters, forms and more. Includes phone and email support as well.
You do sign a contract, but there is no minimum time length of your services. I do not require you to sign a 1 year deal or anything! Take it one month at a time - I'm here for you.
